Chief Operating Officer / COO

Job Purpose

Ensuring effective operational management of the company, coordinating business processes between offices in Uzbekistan and the UAE, and overseeing the execution of key operational, logistics, and trade processes.

Job Responsibilities

1. Organizing and overseeing the company's daily operational activities, including:

– Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of daily operational tasks by all involved departments;

– Ensuring the continuity of key business processes and the timely resolution of operational failures;

– Prioritizing current tasks and monitoring compliance with deadlines;

– Developing a unified approach to operational management throughout the company.

2. Coordinating business processes between offices in Tashkent and Abu Dhabi/Dubai, including:

– Ensuring consistency between departments located in different jurisdictions;

– Organizing the exchange of information, reporting, and management decisions between offices;

– Synchronizing operational processes, internal procedures, and work communications;

– Supporting issues requiring cross-office coordination and prompt resolution.

3. Overseeing logistics and trade operations, including:

– Monitoring the execution of internal stages related to deliveries, document flow, and transaction support;

– Coordinating interactions between the commercial, logistics, financial, and legal departments;

– Monitoring compliance with agreed deadlines for deliveries, payments, and accompanying documents;

– Timely identification of bottlenecks and proposing measures to improve operational efficiency.

4. Ensuring effective interaction between structural divisions, including:

– Developing a clear system of internal communications and areas of responsibility;

– Resolving cross-functional issues and removing barriers in team collaboration;

– Organizing working meetings on operational issues and monitoring the implementation of decisions made;

– Maintaining discipline in the execution of instructions and internal regulations.

5. Optimization of internal processes and implementation of operational standards, including:

– Analysis of existing processes in terms of efficiency, deadlines, costs, and manageability;

– Preparation of proposals for automation, unification, and standardization of work procedures;

– Development and implementation of internal operational regulations, instructions, and checkpoints;

– Support for process changes and monitoring employee adaptation to new work rules.

6. Monitoring the implementation of internal regulations, deadlines, and KPIs, including:

– Tracking the achievement of approved operational indicators and key deadlines;

– Monitoring compliance with quality standards and internal procedures;

– Preparation of proposals for corrective actions when deviations are identified;

– Escalation of significant operational risks and violations to company management.

7. Preparation of management reporting on operational activities, including:

– Generating regular reports on the status of operational processes and task completion;

– Preparation of analytical materials on problematic issues and proposals for improvement;

– Presentation of consolidated information to management for management decision-making;

– participation in the preparation of presentation and reporting materials on the operational function.
